It's gonna be a hot one today! First things first...food to fuel and then I'm off to the gym. Supplements, oatmeal and egg whites for breakfast and of course coffee. Don't forget the coffee!
Cardio didn't go as planned the other day, but that's okay. I managed to get my speed up to 8.0 for few cycles. It's been hard....feeling like my performance has been set back a few steps this first week. Oh well, it is what it is. Pushing a little harder each time is what it's going to take. All of my workouts consisted of higher reps- 20 to 25 and 3 to 4 sets...depending on what body part was being worked and how taxed my muscles were feeling. Next week, I'll be adding more weight and lowering the reps to try and put on a little muscle.
Since it's finally feeling like summer, the sun is beaming and maybe a little time by the pool is in order today. Enjoy the day and don't forget your high SPF sunscreen!!
